Our Company

For more than 130 years since its founding in 1881, Fletcher Granite Company has been quarrying and fabricating fine granite providing craftsmanship and innovation on projects such as buildings, bridges, monuments, and curbing while pioneering innovative granite quarrying and fabrication technologies that have been at the forefront of the industry.

From the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial, the thirty columns of the U.S. Treasury Building, Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, and the Federal Judiciary Building in Washington, D.C., to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, the United States Mint in Philadelphia, Quincy Market restoration at Faneuil Hall in Boston, MA, the Changi International Airport in Singapore, the German History Museum in Berlin, and innumerable other buildings, bridges, parks and architectural landscape projects Fletcher Granite has a long history of commitment to quality.

Today, Fletcher Granite owns and operates ten quarries producing over 1.2 million cubic feet (35,000 cubic meters) of thick slab and rough block annually. These quarries produce eleven distinct, well established, proprietary granites of diverse colors and textures making Fletcher Granite the supplier of choice to architects, developers, institutions, builders, and governments from the local to the international level.

In addition Fletcher Granite provides rough quarry blocks of its fine granites to other fabricators and mills throughout North America and exports rough quarry blocks to fabricators, distributors and mills worldwide both for building projects and for production of polished thin slab and tile. In addition Fletcher Granite serves a network of over 200 carefully selected retail landscape products and masonry distributors in the Northeast.
