Curbing Products / Components Supplied by Fletcher Granite

Fletcher Granite curbing is usually supplied with split sides, sawed tops, bottoms and joints. This innovative approach provides for easier and more uniform setting, and allows close tolerances on cemented joints or butt joints. In addition to split curbing fully sawn curbing can be provided when specified.

 
 

Vertical Granite Curb
Sawn top, split face is primarily used where traffic speeds are restricted such as city streets, congested areas, traffic or safety islands, ramps on grade eliminations, and cloverleafs.

Slope Granite Curb — Sawn top, split face, slope granite curb provides pavement definition like vertical curb, but also permits off-road parking and opportunity for vehicles to veer from pavement. Because motorists drive closer to sloped curve than vertical curb, effective width of pavement is increased by at least two feet.

Granite Curb for Bridges — Sawn top and bottom, split face, closely bedded and jointed is used wherever curb depths are limited, such as tunnels and approaches, bridges, underpasses, elevated structures.

Standardized Vertical Curb Inlets — Sawn top, split face, sawn or burned gutter mouths: Inlet curb sections with gutter mouths are used at catch basin locations in order to provide overflow relief when gratings are obstructed.

Standardized Vertical Curb Corners — Standardized curb corner blocks are most commonly used for driveway and entrances. They are fabricated as full as 90 degree turns, in two radii.
