Our fabrication plant, covering over 65,000 square feet, houses state-of-the-art equipment including computerized multi and single wire diamond saws, jumbo rotary saws with capacity to handle blades up to 14’ (4.2 m) in diameter, and numerous smaller saws for cut-off and edgework.

A standard gauge, short-line railroad with more than two miles of track transports stone from our Westford quarry to our fabricating facility. A spur connection to the main rail line enables granite material to be efficiently transported throughout North America as well as overseas.

Hydraulic splitters give Fletcher Granite great capacity for building stone, curbing and bridge stone up to more than three feet in rise. Finishing work is aided by many machines designed and fabricated in-house, including curb jointing saws, circle splitters, and an inlet machine for curb inlets. Automatic thermaling and polishing machines produce consistent finishes.

New saws, polishers and fabrication equipment are continuously being added. Stone quarries around the world use technology inspired by Fletcher Granite to save time and money in granite production.
