How we work with developers:

Consulting - We consult with developers and their design team as needed. This may mean selecting the type, color, thickness, and split characteristics of the dimension stone, curbing, and landscape products they need.

Budgeting - Some projects have a budget for dimension stone, and in such cases we will advise what we can provide to fit the budget. In other cases, we will estimate the cost of fulfilling a set of specs.

Drafting Services - Fletcher Granite provides full drafting services for projects large and small. Our experienced draftsmen, using CAD systems, develop detailed shop drawings of each stone of a project. Drawings are sent to the architect for approval. Once approved, we fabricate the stones and get them ready to ship to the job site.

Template Room - We provide workspace that customers, as well as their specifiers, designers, and architects may use to lay out full-size templates of stones before final drawings are approved.

Engineering - Fletcher Granite does not typically provide engineering services in connection with installing dimension stones.

Job Site Unloading - Unloading stones shipped by Fletcher Granite is the responsibility of the developer.

Installation - Fletcher Granite does not install, as the customer is responsible for this. We would be pleased to refer our customers to firms highly qualified in installation.

Timing - Whether the contract is bid or negotiated, or if the job proceeds in a phased, fast track, or traditional pace, we aim to complete every project on time and within budget.

Quality Assurance - All granite shipped by Fletcher Granite is assured to be free of cracks, seams, starts, or other defects which may impair its strength, durability, or appearance. Color, texture, and finish shall be within the range of samples approved by the architect.

Granite shall conform to the requirements of ASTM C 615, Architectural Grade and National Building Granite Quarries Association, Inc. "Specifications for Architectural Granite" (NBGQA Specifications).
